TRAIL

Volta la pedra translates, first of all, into a circular trail that works as a link between the Dry Stone Museum, located in the urban centre of Vilafranca, and the already musealised areas of Les Virtuts, La Parreta and Pla de Mosorro.

This route along droveways and pathways (assagadors and caletxes) is divided into two rings of 10,5 kilometres on one side and 7,25 kilometers on the other, and uses existing local trails. The itinerary offers the possibility to see a total of 319 dry stone items that have been catalogued  and described in detail in the data-sheets.

In addition to the data-sheets, the webpage includes much more information about the route, and also 3D and 360º views of some relevant dry stone items that can be found along the route.
